Why We Went
We travelled to Rome because we wanted to explore the city for ourselves and get a feel for what it is like on the ground. Our visit gave us the chance to follow our curiosity and learn from being there, and we came away wanting to share that experience with people planning their own trip.
How We Prepared and Explored
We prepared by researching activities online, joining Facebook groups, and watching YouTube travel videos. Those sources helped us understand the range of things to do and gave us useful context before we arrived. Once there, we explored Rome and joined tours. The tours gave us another way to learn about the city, and our own exploring let us follow up on questions and interests.
